Inca Spirit Fusion
Inca Spirit plays world fusion music and Latin American folk with European and native instruments. The Inca culture assimilated the knowledge of Pre-Columbian cultures like Tiahuanaco, Wari, Chavin, Chachapoyas, Nasca, Paracas, and Sipan. Inca Spirit members have been performing world wide for several years. Their music explores the mystery and magic of Pre Colombian cultures from ancient Peru. The band is committed to continuing traditional Incan rhythms while adding flamenco, and Caribbean improvisation influences. The musicians combine: guitar, synthesizer, and charango with ancient drums, panpipes and bamboo flutes producing ethereal rich melodies full of textures and natural sound effects. This fusion of the ancestral style with the contemporary results in world fusion music recorded on their two CD's.
Nasca Lines Prophecy, their first compact disc, is a tribute album dedicated to the members of the Andean Quechua culture. Using hand made replicas of ancient pan pipes and drums, Inca Spirit creates a fusion of traditional folk music, sounds from nature and contemporary production technology. Experience a living culture thousands of years old!

Inca Spirit proudly announces its new CD "Amazonas."
This music is dedicated to the preservation of ancient forests. Ancient forests are shelter to most of the world's biodiversity. These forests stabilize our climate, protect our soil, air, and water, and nurture the Earth's fisheries. They are home to countless indigenous nations. Approximately 45 percent of the world's tropical forests, originally covering 1.4 billion hectares, have disappeared in the last few decades. The U.S. has destroyed over 90 percent of its ancient forests, Only 22 percent of the earth's original forest coverage remains. Western Europe has lost 98 percent of its primary forests; Asia 94 percent; Africa 92 percent; Oceania 78 percent; North America 66 percent, and South America 54 percent. More than 80 percent of the world's ancient forests have already been destroyed due to logging. Unless the expansion of industrial logging is stopped, all remaining ancient forest areas will be fragmented or lost within a few short decades.

The Miami-based band is available for world music performances, cultural, educational, corporate events, public school visits, art installations/performances, private parties, festivals, trance meditation sessions and openings. Inca Spirit also combines live music with ethnic dances and performances.
